Default Removing paint from urethane side skirts

Hi everyone,

I bought a set of authentic urethane nismo side skirts from a fellow member and I need help finding a way to remove the old paint without damaging the plastic below. The previous member chipped away at some of the old paint, as you can see in the pictures below, but didn't finish removing all of it.

I tried googling up how to remove the rest of the paint without damaging them but a lot of people just said to wet sand it. They said to stay away from the urethane/plastic paint removers because are still strong enough to cause damage.

Any suggestions?

I know it took you a while to find these to buy. I would let a proffessional deal with this.
If you mess up it would cost you more for them to fix it

I'd suggest just chipping away at any paint you could, and if it's really stuck on there just sand it down to the urethane.

Yeah that's true. I've been looking for them for a couple of months now. I'll take them to a professional. Thanks

Just leave it alone and have a shop fix it. Chipping the paint of just means more sanding for the shop to do to get the surface level enough for paint.
