This is a prototype Carbon Fiber front lip made by MasterGrade.. They are currently making a custom widebody 350z and have a widebody S2000 out right now. Let me know what you think!







It took about 5 minutes to put on.

 

looks nice... the lip is a little too "fangy" for my taste. but its defintely nice.


as for the spoiler.... i don't like cf spoilers, rather i'd prefer body toned spoilers, but that's just me.

 

I see your still sporting our hood Car looks good, its a bit to fangy like he said... Nice design though if they would of made it a bit more cleaner anyhow the car is looking SIC with all your carbon parts, now all you need is some carbon side skirts and rear and your set

 

comes out too much...

 

it's not the final look, its a test fit to see what how well it fits and where the lip needs to be altered.. i think the fangs are a little much as well..

wicked you'll see it in person soon.. along w/ my brakes!! they'll be done monday.. the hood is amazing.. fit and finish.. if anyone is in the market go through PMP Designs..

I 2nd that, the spoiler doen't look to bad though.

 

If it went straight across it would be perfect. Nice exhaust....hmmm mine will be similiar soon

 

to edgy for me, this is a car, not some sort of transformer.

 

i kinda like the fangs!? its something different. a little more xtreme. most lips seem too plain to me. nice car over all!! care to tell me more about that exhaust??? i realy like the hks's! what y-pipe are you using?

 

DeeZee: The exhaust is a HKS Ti canister, the y-pipe is similar to the Top Secret design that uses 2.5" that merges into 3" all the way back.. the sound is amazing, but loud.. if you dont mind loud exhausts get this setup.. the guys over at www.teamspugen.com did the exhaust and others on this board.. get in contact with them.. PM me for any contact info and other pics if needed..

Back to topic.. I really didn't like the lip at first, but the more i see it the more it grows on me.. i'm going to take it off after the show on the 25th.. it is a bit much for me.. however i know there are a lot of people that do like the way it looks and want something different from almost everyone w/ a veilside or nismo front lip.. i do love how the sides look though especially in the 2nd pic.

shoulda seen mastergrade's first kit for the Z. it was extremely rice.

 

LBC TRD, is that Evo-R's Modena Version II Carbon Fiber Spoiler that's on your Z or did someone else COPIED our spoiler? Looks very familiar!!!

 

Red6: the lip is made by mastergrade and looks a lot different from the kaminari one, the mastergrade one was made over a year ago.. they are close to where i live so i dropped by and he let me put it on for a show.. so no its not a copy..

Evo: I got the wing from a freind as a test fit.. i don't know you or your company.. so i have no idea about your products or if its a copy as you say.. sorry, they do look similar though.. i dont know who made it i just let them put it on to see how it fit..

BTW.. mastergrade's widebody 350z is going to look amazing when it's done!

Thanks for all your constructive comments.. this post was just to guage interest.. i was afraid to post this because members on this board tend to just yell rice at everything someone has on their car.. this lip will be replaced with something different as it's not really with the look i was going for.. but i thought some others would find it interesting.. thanks..

 

LBC TRD, as for the friend that gave you that CF spoiler, was he from "MasterGrade"?

I see people are already starting to copy Evo-R's spoiler.

 

If you didn't patent the design, I'm sorry to say that it's your own fault... That's what patents are for... if you didn't want it copied, you'd have known what to do.

Evo: no MasterGrade did not give me the spoiler.. one of my freinds got some 350z products from one of his freinds and let me put them on my car.. who's copying "your" spoiler? i've never even heard of your company.. no offense.. but if you were a company like c-west or veilside then i can see where you're coming from, but i have dont know you and have never even seen your products over here in california.. so pls. stop asking me if i copied your stuff.. i'm just a 350z owner who loves this car..

the wing is definitely staying on.. though i'm taking the lip off next week..

I know we are not as big as the other big name company like C-West or Veilside, but we do develope most of our products and we mainly focus on the 350Z items. Hopefully one day most of the 350Z owners will know about Evo-R Inc. ( www.Evo-R.net )

 

Evo: it's all good man, i understand where you're coming from.. this post was to guage interest in the MasterGrade lip, you didn't even comment on the lip at all.. just focused on someone (me) who you thought "copied" your spoiler.. anyways, keep the parts coming.. i checked out your stuff there's definitely some cool stuff on there for a good price.. some of your products are knock-off's too though.. the lip looks like style kings and the eyelids look like central 20 no?
