Default Fairlady Z Emblem question

Hello all. I tried searching but couldn't find anything about this.

I recently installed the JDM Fairlady Z emblem (legit from performance nissan) and I noticed the other day that the shine is similar to the door handles.

With that being said, the Nissan emblems are a shiney chrome and the difference kind of annoys me. Did they have different Nissan emblems on the JDM models? Or is this normal?

I would take pics but I've been getting home every night around 11-midnight and I leave every morning around 5, so everytime I'm home it's dark. Damn tax season!

This is normal, the 350z logo is also the same finish

The "hamburger" Nissan logos are a plastic chromeish finish so they won't match your Fairlady emblem

Good question, I have never heard of a JDM version so I would bet $10 it's the same thing
