So I'm looking to buy my partner a new shift **** and I have liked all the good things I have heard about the nismo titanium and the gt titanium shift *****. However every time I go to buy one it says not for transmission with a reverse lockout function. How do I get one of these shift ***** that will work on a reverse lockout?

 

Some reverse lockout are on the shift **** itself, such as a button you press or a tab/ring you have to manipulate in order to get into reverse. The 350z's reverse lockout is not on the **** itself, but is integrated into the metal guide underneath the shift boot and the shifter pole. If your partner has a 350z, anything with the correct size threaded hole will work as a shift ****.

If it's for a different car, check to see if there's a reverse lockout on the shift **** itself, then find a **** specific to that vehicle.

 

Thanks for that. Yes it's 4 a Nissan 350z. One more question is a Nissan gear shift **** a 12mm or a 10mm ?
