it is a subjective question
comes down to taste

IMHO your wheels do not do anything for the car , nor do the gold ones your posting ( so I think we have different taste in wheels)

lower your front 1/2" , your back 1"

I have magnetic black with gold vs xx so I know what sets it off

SSR SP3 Gold 10" F , 11.5" R
SSR MS1 Gold 10" F , 11.5" R
WORK VS XX Gold NEW STEP LIP Version 10" F , 11.5" R

with offsets to clear your big brakes you got or are getting , and still having about 4.5" F lip , 5.5" R Lip

doing this in addition to what you have done on your update , thrust your car to a whole new level

The height is going to stay where it is in the most recent pictures. The rear coilovers are on the lowest setting currently but even if I had the option to go any lower I'd still keep it how it is for a few reasons. One of them being that I'm not into the hella flush/massive drop type of look and I feel like if I go any lower I'm going to start sacrificing too much in terms of handling. Also, if I reduce the ground clearance any more I might start leaving body parts scattered randomly throughout the streets of new york (side note: fck the nycdot and their terrible resurfacing/repairing procedures). The exhaust canisters near the middle of the car are the lowest point of the vehicle at around 2.0-2.5 inches off the ground and they already scrape way too often, so I'm worried if I go lower I'll start having trouble with areas that I can't avoid, particularly over speed bumps in my work parking lot.

Those gold wheels I posted are now sold, so you won't be seeing them anyway. While I agree the blue and gold work well together and definitely pop, I don't see myself going back to a gold wheel/big lip setup anytime soon. It's just too flashy and my taste is moving more towards the small/no lip with some concavity look. However, I will admit I've always loved the VS-XX wheels, but I love my current wheels too. I love that they're light weight, love that they're monoblock, so as I mentioned before if they start looking worn in the future I'd most likely hang on to them and recoat them with a new color that still contributes to the look I'm going for.

Thanks for the feedback.

As I look at the car more, I'm thinking I need to do something to the rear to balance the front now with the hood. Currently toying with the idea of the TS carbon diffuser or possibly the chargespeed rear bumper. I may even be willing to put on a wing. I looked at a couple pictures of Z's with a low level salad bar wing and I thought it looked pretty good. I know power enterprise makes a low level wing like this. Any other brands with a similar design?

Also, does anyone know how compatible the TS diffuser is with the nismo rear add ons? I know I've seen it before with the nismo add ons essentially replacing the vortex generators of the TS diffuser, but is there any cutting that needs to be done to give the diffuser enough space or does it mount without space issues?

Love the brakes and the hood!

It really is surprising how much of a difference the hood makes, but it def gives you a much more aggressive appearance.

I gotta agree with you on the rear, either a diffuser or spoiler would really set it off. I know they're not functional at all, but I'm kind of a fan of the little roof spoilers on Z's that don't have any other rear spoilers. Thoughts?

Thanks dude. When I do decide to give some attention to the rear I will either add the diffuser and remain wingless, swap to the chargespeed and remain wingless, or do one of the two with a wing. What I'm torn now over is the fact that I really like how the exhaust looks from the rear with the big shiny visible canisters so deciding to hide those with a diffuser or chargespeed bumper might be tough but we'll see.

My take on the diffuser and wing is if you have ajust a diffuser you can pull it off. I feel any post style wing needs and aggressive a5$ end to compliment. When I installed my Nismo and MCR blade I had to order the diffuser. It looked way to plain to me.

Car looks awesome now. Nice little changes.

Car is looking fantastic.

Chargespeed rear and a Blitz spoiler would look great.

And you could dress up the front grill a little if you wanted a little more pop.

Definitely agree with the wing not working by itself. I have a rule when it comes to body work and it's that it should be done from the ground up. I made sure I changed the front bumper and sides first before going with an aftermarket hood. Now in the rear, even though I added the nismo extensions, I agree more is needed down below before a wing can be added.

only thing missing is nismo V3 wing!

get rid of the polish lip in your wheels.. perhaps painting them dark color which close to the spokes color.

and that's it!

V3 wing or Blitz lip spoiler may set it off well. then still not a fan of unpainted carbon hoods.

Has a great look started, and dam close to be perfected IMO.

Hmm the v3 wing looks pretty good. I've always been a fan of the v2 nismo wing as well. Any idea where these can be purchased from (authentic or replica)? Any vendors on here?

You're taking a gamble with replica fitment. However, kingbaby's rep v3 wing has great fitment... Check out his thread.

I'll take a look. For the cost of a new one I might as well buy a Power Enterprise 3D wing. I'm pretty sure I've seen them for around 1,500 on GTM's website.
