There aren't many options from what i've seen.

B&M, Nismo and TWM pretty much.

But I'm interested to see others opinions.

Nissan already put one in your car for free and you should learn to use it. Maybe look into a weighted shift **** that can be adjusted to the right height. You need a combination of leverage/height along with weight to be able to throw the shifter into each gear. You can try a TWM short shifter but you will greatly benefit from a weighted shift ****. Check out the TWM M1 abrams since that is the lowest height and still weighs almost 1 lb.

For all you noobs out there...READ THE FARKING OWNERS MANUAL....geez

MANUAL TRANSMISSION Shifting

To change gears, or when upshifting or downshifting,
fully depress the clutch pedal, shift into
the appropriate gear then slowly and smoothly
release the clutch.

This vehicle is equipped with a short throw
shifter manual transmission
. To ensure smooth
gear changes, fully depress the clutch pedal
before operating the shift lever. If the clutch
pedal is not fully depressed before the transmission
is shifted, a gear noise may be heard.
Transmission damage could occur

The 350Z's stock shifter is perfect. I would never put a short shifter on it.

Did that on my SRT4. But they only had a mopar (40% shorter). I put in a maddog (80% shorter). I loved the nice tight feel of a short shift.

Nissan also put the clutch pedal release where they did, so don't go talking about Nissan like they only make perfection.

The clutch pedal is made for hard driving or racing.

I admit it sometimes sucks on the street, but when you push the car hard and are shifting hard, I think it feels perfect.

I have TWM lever and ****. It's only about 1/3 shorter throw. I does not improve the notchy feel. Get the RJM pedal kit for that instead. It does seem to lock in gear better, but that could be from the weighted ****. I have the phantom hybrid which only gets warm with the top down on 102 day. I did have to raise it for a better pendulum effect. I can't compare to Nismo or Stillen as I haven't used them.
