Default jp rear diffuser install?

im wanting to buy a jp diffuser but i wanted to see exactly how to install it.i did a search and cant find how exactly it mounts to the rear bumper. is it just held with adhesive?

Screws and bolts would be my guess along with 3m tape. Its really up to you. I mean if you feel its secure enough with just tape then thats what you use, if you want to make sure its on there then use other items along with the tape.

As with rear diffusers of this type(its similar to the popular diffuser sold by EVO-R),
it is secured with 3-m tape.I highly recommend using 3-M adhesive promoter on the mounting surfaces before installing.I have a similar diffuser.You really need to use self
tapping or metal screws underneath.You just drill pilot holes into the surface of
the rear bumper.Of course,holes will need to be drilled through the diffuser.For
a pro job,I suggest using S/S security type scews.Paint the heads a satin black
for a finished look.

Dang was really hoping I wouldn't have to screw into and ruin my bumper

Yes you will ruin your bumper with the JP add on little whatever thing.

Lol whatever I think it looks good.i just didn't want to screw into the bumper in case I remove it

The right 3M tape would be plenty to hold it on. some 3M tape is close to permanent

My car had one installed when I bought it. Looks like it's this one sold by thezstore. The previous owner attached it with self tapping wood screws but I would not recommend that lol.
