Door panel bolt holes are stripped.
I removed my door panels to put my oem mirrors back on, and when I put the bolts back in to reinstall the panel, all of the bolts stripped out. None of them will tighten now.
I looked at the holes and the threaded holes themselves have stripped. So now none of my bolts in either door panel will tighten.
Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do to repair it?
I thought that I could get some self tapping screws slightly larger diameter and the same length as the original bolts and hopefully they would tighten. But other than that I really don't have any other ideas.

I have had this problem as well! I looked into it and the door panel uses plastic nuts which pop into the metal sheet behind the door card. If you look online, you should be able to find them. I would look up "350Z plastic door nuts" to see if they pop up. I will look around and see if i can find some and if i do ill post the link
