Glove box cover install help
Previous owner of my car installed an amp rack inside the pass side glove box, and removed the hinged cover and installed another Bose grill. I would like to put the hinged cover back on, so I bought one used that came with the spring cord retractor thing. Since I've never seen one on, am I missing some sort of hinge piece to connect the door. How have other people attached this door? I read someone used some sort of dowel on the bottom hinge, but I don't understand how. Can someone post a close up pic of the latch that the door catches on, think that's missing too. Thanks.

there is a little round hole to the lower right of the cubby. There is a corresponding hole on the door. seems like you already have it attached to the door. is the hole on the cubby side empty or does it have the little round plug in it?. pics of the state of it will help.
Door came with a cord coming out of it, which connects to a black braket that looks like it was broken off something, then to a long white tube with a spring inside.
In the car, I see the round hole, and there is nothing behind it. I'm not sure what you take apart to put the cord through the hole in the cubby, then what the bracket and tube attach to. Turns out I need the latch also.
