Thumbs up Burnt Orange Leather install in my '06 LeMans Sunset 6MT coupe

Hi all, just started to swap out the cloth seat covers for Burnt Orange leather ones. I got the leather seat cover set from the guys over at Leatherseats.com in OKC. Very nice build quality on the seat skins, shift boot and armrests. No flaws at all that I can detect. The fit on the driver seat pan and seat back are right on the money. So far I swapped out the shift boot and the drivers seat. it's a step up from the old black cloth seat covers. There's more padding on the leather covers too.

Hopefully the pictures are attached an viewable.

Perfect fit look like factory ones. How much those cover cost and do you have to remove the original cloth seat cover?

The total cost for the seat skins, the shifter boot and the armrest covers is about $830 or so shipped. The total cost really depends on the options you select. For me I chose the premium leather covers(Leather on the face of the seat and colormatched vinyl for the sides and back side). The new seat cover skins also have a tiny bit of added padding to add to the seat comfort. I'm very happy with them. If you wanted all leather for the sides and seat back-side covers, the cost would go up more. Call the folks at leatherseats, they'll be happy to send you a sample leather swatch and talk options. No committment is made until you are ready to buy.

As for installation, I did remove the cloth covers from the seat cushions. These new seat covers will not work unless you take the original ones off. If you are afraid of the remove and install process, seek out a reputable auto upholstery shop in your area to do the work. For me personally it took about 1.5 to 2 hours for each cover to remove, clean the cushion, and reinstall the new leather skin. NOTE: it's also a good time to assess the condition of your cushions. I ended up replacing the back cushion of the drivers seat earlier this year due to wear. Take your time and do it right. The result is worth it. A good learning experience for me. I have a newfound respect for the guys that do this kind of work day in and day out.

Default Done with Seats and corbeau heaters.

Well, It's Friday the 10th of May. As of today I have both seats covered in the new leather. Both seats have seat heaters installed. I used factory Nissan switches and modified the Corbeau seat heater control systems to work with them. They even light up when the parking and headlights come on. It was alot of work and well worth doing. Do it right so it looks the part as opposed to rigged. Pictures to follow in the morning if its sunny here.

Ahh the sweet smell of Leather and Success.

I kept the factory cloth covers in case someone needs/wants them. PM me for info. My car is an '06 6MT, manual seats, w/airbags.

Photos as promised:
