Yeah I understand the "what?" factor, but after about 2 weeks I really like it (only costs like $13 and is billet aluminum); I now prefer it over the stock horse whip! *I just grabbed the stock at it's base with my hand and twisted it off pretty easily (counter clockwise); this bullet one has several adapters for different cars; one of them was perfect for the Z and I tightened it with a phillips screwdriver, screwed my bullet on to it and hand snugged it up; total time was 5+ min.

yeah I think if somebody wanted basically any antenna they will remove it quickly most likely.
