Default Carbon Wrapped Pillars Vs Real Thing

I have a 03 350z the passenger exterior A pillar or Roof Pillar is cracked and looks like crap. I was wondering if anybody has ever wrapped their A pillar on here or would i be better off getting the real thing instead of getting them wrapped?

the thing is, even with a wrap, it will follow whatever surface is underneath. unless you fix the crack and then wrap, you will still see the crack line underneath the vinyl.

Just fix the crack with something (epoxy and bondo, CA glue) and then wrap it.

A wrap will show the crack underneath.Only other options are to replace the pillar/
get it painted to match or buy a CF overlay to cover both sides. The Z Store sells
them.

I'm gonna check around for the CF overlays otherwise i might try and fix the crack and just wrap it, because the kid that had it before must've hit something idk how that pillar gets cracked like that, but i got it pretty cheap so i cant complain
