I installed the Brightstar 5000k on mine. Got them from importhookup.com. Its going to be the H7 kit whick will fit our cars. Ask if you can still get the $359.00 deal. Myself and a few others on this board have installed them and they look great.
Here is the thread with some pics of mine and a couple others.

They have a slight bluish tint to them. I would stick to the 5000 though personally. I would rather the whiter look which is what the 5000 have. Also the 6000 wont put out as much light as the 5000, it will just look bluer.
And yeah check out the importhookup website. They are great people to deal with and were very helpful and informative.

Oh yeah. Ive had mine for 6 months nowand love it even more than I did when I got it. I have a base too and am very happy with it. Doing the same as you and just modding it as I go. But any questions about installing the HID's just let me know. They are a fairly easy install. I did them them in like an hour without ever having done something like that before.

Ronzzz I appreciate the offer but I have been saving up for some Volks for the past couple months and have had my heart set on those. My tax return should take care of the rest of the money. If you have any pics of yours I would really like to see them though. Thanks again for the offer. It is appreciated.

if you want the best, get MotionR 6000k. I use them on my M3 & Porsches for over 2 years w/o any problems. They also offer lifetime replacement warranty.

Ron,
I have my old 2004 XENON 350Z Housings off my car if you want them.
They already have the Black housing conversion and has the complete 350Z Xenon Kit in them already.
If interested, e-mail me direct at: webiteks@charter.net
Good Luck!
Respectfully,
Chris

Does the HID beams reflect onto the road evenly like the stock HID. The reason I'm asking is because the housing on a base is made for halogen (without correct reflector) and the housing on higher model is designed for HID (with HID reflector).
