How do you use the 3-in-1 golf/key chain in the golf mode?

Remove the boot and put zip ties around the lever

You can also stack washers (if you can find some with an inner hole big enough; I used rubber washers I bought at the plumbing section of Home Depot) or wrap tape around the upper part of the shift lever so the shift boot ring doesn't slide down all the way.

I just cut a small piece of cardboard and wrapped it around the shaft underneath the boot, zip tied it, and when I put the shifter trim back on, it held up the boot from falling. I then used a rubber shank from Home Depot as a finisher. Although I did try polishing the shank since it is originally a very dull rubber

To really pack it out I got some of the material that looks like insulating material and added it to the material that was already there, doubling it up and then used a zip tie. the extra material packs out the boot and the tie holds it in position. Simples.
