Anyone have experience with a replica veilside lip? Also, is Evo-R still in business? Has anyone ordered from him recently?

 

EVO-R is very much in business.A forum member recently ordered a Mines
rep(type 3)lip.FYI,you can aLso buy one on E-BAY.I think the company selling
is west coast customs...do a search on E-BAY for 350z mines lip.I believe
the company selling on BAY is actually EVO-R using another name.If you order
direct from EVO-R,don't call.Jay never answers or returns calls.Use their E-Mail.
You should get a response.

 

I've had an Evo-R Mines lip for a few years now. Fitment is perfect, and it has held up well.

 

Anyone know where to find a good replica of the lip from anyone but Evo-R i cant find that guy anyhwere.

 

the replicas run $500-$600 shipped

the veilside lip CF is like $700 shipped


either is way too much

but it is less than buying / fitting / painting a new front bumper
and is easily removed if you want to go back to stock
easy to re-sell and ship


I opted for the veilside lip

 

Keep in mind, though, that due to how closely those lips fit to eh bumper it is likely you will have areas of damaged paint on the bumper around the edges of where the lip goes should you ever decide to remove the lip.

I got my veilside authentic carbon fiber for $420 or so from a vendor on this forum. For that price I would buy real instead of replica. And as sry110 mentioned, the tight fit may dig a bit into your paint/bumper. Looks darn good tho and I don't intend on removing it.
