NISMO and Veilside height compatability
ZXSaint,
I have not measured yet...but I will out of curiosity now that you mention it. I'll let you know after I measure it.
Looking at the pictures I took, I can see why you asked that question. The front lip does look a little high from the reflection on it...however, it does extend further down then it appears, but it is black and it gets lost in the shadows. I like the look of the NISMO side skirts more so then the Veilside V1 sides...they look tacked on almost as an after thought, and not fluid...that is why I went with the NISMO sides with Veilside lip and wing. I am still looking for a rear lower that I like that does not hide the NISMO exhaust.
In person, the car's body kit set up looks fluid and matched even though they are by different manufactures. Tad

SirZaLot,
Since I cannot afford to buy some Volk LE37s in Gold with polished lips right now ...(getting ready to move to Germany) I went to a "Quick Signs" store and had some Volk Racing Wheel and Rays stickers made on clear back round and I put them on.
It satisfied my lust for the LE37s in a small way. When the time is right ($) I plan to contact Jeff at Evolutions in Virginia and buy them. Tad

Tad-
Ohh wow that's a lot of time being away from the Z! I dont think I could do that Anyways, yeah we'll hopefully have a semi-warm day between now and end of Feb. just cause a lot of owners have been wanting to have a meet too I think. Just keep checking the regional forum, something will come up I'm sure!

Veilside V1/NISMO height compatability
zxsaint
I measured the ground clearance right before and after the front wheels.
They're almost even. The Veilside V1 front lip was 4 inches off the ground, measured in front of the front wheels. I also measured the very front, middle of the lip and it was 3 and 3/4s inces off the ground.
The NISMO side skirts are 4 and 3/4s inches off the ground, measured right behind the front wheels
So, yes, the front lip is slightly lower than the NISMO side skirts.
I really do like the way it looks too all together. Tad

It was actually a store called "Signs By Tomorrow" (not the one I mentioned in an earlier reply) that did my Volk Racing Wheel and Rays Engineering stickers for the wheels. They are a national chain, go online to find the store closest to you. They did my Veilside windshield sticker too. Tad

And just some advice I wouldn't come on a Z forum and say things like it's not as fast as the rx(7).

It was good talking with you on the phone. I appriciate the comments...but, why don't you post up some pictures and specs of your RX-7 so other readers will know where you are coming from. Trust me, I know...I remember doing 150 with you above Nimitz Highway, outside Honolulu, Hawaii in light traffic. It was a numbing experience, and your RX-7 was still pulling. Do you ever get to blaze like that in Alaska? I sure am missing Hawaii and the warm weather and sunshine right about now.
On a different note...these fourms are monitored. Tad

hey you know me, i'd NEVER intentionally bag on the 350, i'm thinking of adding one to my toy collection too. just some people out there don't want to hear anything negative about their rides.
