^ for a factory 03-05 hid car, the 06+ are direct plug and play. (you can snip or keep the blue wire, that wire will make the orange turn lamp into a drl essentially unless you snip it)

the harness for the 03-05 is significantly different than for an 06+. even the bulb is different as the 06+ is a d2s bulb (true projector) where as the 03-05 is a d2r bulb (r being for refelctive). the bixenon lamp esseentially has a flapper so when you turn the high beam on, the flapper lowers itself allowing more light output. same bulb as your actual headlight bulb. the 03-05 uses a seperate non hid bulb as a high beam.

if the harness/ballast/bulb/ etc is included, thats a hell of a price. you can get oem spec depo (chrome) for about 375 a piece, fully equipped, and they are oem spec quality. depo hasnt let me down on any of the lights ive ever worked on.

So i would essentially only need a new high/low beam bulb( the bulb that has both combined).if i get that bulb the rest should plug up? granted i switch over the harness ballast etc. that would leave me with an extra wire for the high beam bulb that would not exist on the 06+ headlights.

Imma buy em and try them out. I wanted to open and paint my 03s but this is way better. Buy new bulbs etc good deal

Yeah keep us updated! If I didn't just get my headlights I would've been interested in these. I'm thinking depo just came out with these so I don't think anyone has them installed yet

Just a reminder, companies of authentic products dont lose too much business from replicas because customers that buy replicas wouldve never bought something 3x the price to begin with .



Also these are ONLY $289?? I would love to give them a try. I much rather prefer OE lights but Ive had DEPO before and they work alright. Not a big fan of the all black though. Does the seller also have chrome?

I would run them in chrome as my sits, but wouldn't want them for my car when it was a daily driver.

Hello new here, I ordered a set of these to replace my oem headlights covered in spider cracks. They will be here Wednesday ill throw up some pictured then.

I put in my oem 06+ headlights and damn, the cutoff is ****ing amazing. the high beam is scary bright.

Awesome, keep us posted. I was just planning to pain my 04's too but i'd much rather upgrade to the 06+ if these depo's are decent quality.

I'd imagine you could just buy an aftermarket d2s hid kit instead of trying to source stockers.

Is the hi/lo flapper part of the headlight unit? I'd be concerned about the longevity of those components if anything. Everything else is just plastic anyways..

no I don't but I do have the oem lights from a 08. if you have the money, do the upgrade. amazing clarity.

I wish the turn signal part was black though, I know it destroys the function but it looks so much better.
