seems like theres more options on the http://zworklights.com/ site. How much did you get yours for ? I have an 05 base model so it might be a little more expensive to convert to the new headlights

They came with the car. The previous owner was saying that they're $700 headlights.

I checked eBay and I found 06-09 350z model version of the headlight for $700+ x_x http://www.ebay.com/itm/Xenon-HID-Headlight-Lamp-with-Ballasts-Set-Pair-LH-RH-For-06-09-Nissan-350Z-/310867818702?fits=Model%3A350Z&hash=item48612a78ce&vxp=mtr
I honestly don't think they're worth that much though. =/

Default STi lens spacer?

Do I really need the lens tuning kit? I read the DIY halo thread and he made some by stacking gasket material, but I wasn't sure if he did that in addition or to replace, or even if its necessary.

I have these depo lights and the quality and the look is definitely up to par. If you're looking for the same exact look you can always open your lights and paint them. It's a bit tricky and yu might damage the housing and it takes some time to do but it is very possible. I'm happy with my depo headlights. Also these guys talking crap about knockoff wheels lol. I've spent over 30gs on upgrades to my Z making it a twin turbo amongst other things and I just purchased some knockoff volks cause really wheels are wheels. With the power I've obtained the weight difference doesn't matter. They look sweet and that's all that I care about at this point. That being said they are just temporary until I get the money together to buy the real thing. I found the knockoffs for dirt cheap already powder coated black which is what I was looking for and if they crack on a pothole just means I wasn't paying full attention to the road and it will force me to upgrade to the real deal. To each his own. Knockoffs or real deal doesn't matter. What matters is who's getting to the finish line first and that's what my build is all about.

Hi there. So I'm upgrading my 2004 non HID to the DEPO's and I'm about to order the DS2 kit from retrosource, maybe some sti lenses too. My question is if I need a 6 or 8 a pin connector too though. Maybe I missed it somewhere but can someone chime in? Thanks!

Does anyone happen to know if the clear plastic covers that come on these light will fit onto OEM 06-09. I've got some cracking and crazing going on that cannot be sanded out. I have not been able to find just the clear lens anywhere.

You can buy the cheap 03-05 depo headlight and use the lens off it and replace your cracked lens. Just bake pull and switch.

nice! I was hoping they were the same. I wont mind losing the bit of plastic design on the 06-09's.

Depos with STI-R lens - much better output. Check out my post "Headlights Are Done" to see my 06 on an 03.

Default 03-05 to 06+ depo headlights help

Hey guys, i know there are other threads on this. However i find there is so much conflicting information about what works. Some say its straight swap others you need a new loom etc etc.

Now i have no knowledge of what lights are which. I have an 04 track, and these are my lights

Does anyone know if this is a straight swap or do these need any alterations to the globes/wiring etc

Thanks
