Has anyone had any expierence with the amuse replica besides the shine auto version.

I know ait and vis makes a replica. Can anyone vouch for these brands?

Amuse replica-img_6692.jpg

VIS FRP nismo v2 style front. No body work done on the lines of the bumper for fitting. It's not exactly perfect maybe like 92% spot on but damn good enough for me especially since it's a replica. Body shop had to re-drill the top holes and side holes bigger and drill holes for the splash guards and under tray. They said a little body work was done to pull the bumper more backwards but I think that was it. Overall for a $140 bumper the fitment was NOT bad at all.

VIS is usually good with the replicas. but there are chances that you will get one with bad fitment. I ordered two of their gismo v2 reps and one of them was way whack and one was spot on.

Also duraflex is cheap but terrible fitment. I had to cut my amuse bumper in two spots and then refiberglass it before it fit.

I bought a no-name replica of the amuse kit:

Went horribly, I spent way too much trying to fix it and making it fit right. You'd be better of going for one with good reputation (eg shine) and pay a bit more right at the start.

It's the big piece down bottom
I got it (as well as the kit) from a local body kit supplier, no doubt it's imported from the states somewhere. Pretty bad fitment though, for sideskirts, bumpers and front diffuser

would you be able to hook me up for a front diffuser? I have the front bumper. And you have to cut the bumper for the diffuser to fit no? and how much did it run you?

It would probably not be a good idea haha the shipping itself would cost way more than the amuse diffuser because I'm halfway across the world from you
And yeap had to cut some bits off. The diffuser came with the kit but the whole kit costed $700.

In the future when it breaks though, I'd love to get a carbon fiber one by Shine

Haha yeah, I was looking at the shine diffuser as well, but it is quite pricey indeed.

Does anyone know if you have to take your crash bar off for the shine auto replica for the amuse bumper?

99% sure you don't. People take it off when fitting large intercoolers, otherwise no reason to remove.
