Trouble at the body shop.
I asked him when I could wax it, he said I could take it home and wax it as soon as I got home. Obviously I'm not gonna but I did think to ask.
And about the wheel gap. I know I know... Let me catch a break! I'm a struggling college student lol

Regarding the wheel gap, getting yourself a nice set of spacers will really change how the car looks and it is really not that expensive. You could go out and drop a decent amount of coin on spacers if you buy an expensive brand, but I highly recommend Z1 Motorsports bolt-on spacers. I did tons of research on them and after reading all the positive reviews I pulled the trigger on 20mm front and 25mm rear. Top notch quality and IMO worth more then what they charge for them.
Here is the link. They are actually on sale right now so check them out. I would say 20mm front and 25mm rear should be pretty good. If you want the rears to be completely flush or maybe sticking out slightly I would go with 30mm.

Unfortunately the G wheels have weak offsets when put on a Z so spacers are a must. I guarantee with the spacers your car would look sick!
Thanks I'll look into em. I picked up a set of z1 test pipes and a z1 plenum spacer at z nationals this year. I'm hopin to get em on this weekend. Speakin of, can anyone elaborate on z1's test pipes? There were labels on the box that were cut off and I read on the 300zx forum that they just rebadged Megan tp's. Can anyone confirm that?
Body shops typically just wet sand then buff with compound/polish. No waxing like already stated, unless they don't care like this guy. :P
Looking at the pic though, it looks like he does a pretty good job with color matches. Or did I miss it and he did a complete? Light met. silvers can be a pain either way. Pics of the door jamb?
