Default problems with door sills

When it rains my door sills fill with water and it sits there until the door is opened. Does anyone else have this problem? Is this normal? THANKS

How do you know it's there if the door is closed?

Are you talking about water filling up the gap and spilling out onto the ground when you open the door so it's obvious?

Or do you mean that the door sill gets wet?

I've never really noticed it during a rain, but I know that every time I wash the car and immediately open the door, water flushes out from the drain holes. I figured it must have a snug seal. I've simply accepted it and made it part of my detailing routine to clean the jams and sills. But then again, I thought the sound of the front-end toe was normal, too, and my 12 months are expired.

So why don't you just pay the 50 or whatever bucks and get an alignment.

Blktrk, I don't have this problem, sorry. I don't drive the Z in the rain and when I wash it, nothing spills out. Good luck.

you should always wipe down all door jams/hatch jams cause water inevitable gets in there. This happens on all cars.

I don't think that filling up and spilling out is normal.

I get this CONSTANTLY, but have learned to deal with it. I think I may go make a stink about it to my dealer come spring time. Maybe get a free t-shirt out of it, or something.

I think i saw a pic of the JDM door sill where they have more of an angle so if water did get up there it would run down due to the slant. Im looking for a pic of the JDM door sill right now. Post a pic of this if you have one.

And yes i get the same problem and its REALLY annoying. I dont want any problems with the water freezing during the winter.
