Default Touch Up Paint..

Chrome silver touch up paint.

How good does this stuff match? Someones shopping cart hit my car while I was at the store. It's not too bad but it's noticeable.

From my research there is not a better one, but the local dealer never got back to me yet.

My '08 is Carbon Silver, and the OEM touch-up paint was way too dark. Bought some here (and for my wife's Acura), and it was a perfect match:

Some silvers are hard to touch up. Get some stock color paint from the dealer or werever and use it on the door jam or other less noticeable area to check color match. If you are unhappy with the match, take the paint to an experienced detailer, they will mix the paint with clear and reducer and tint it. Once they polish this into the scratch it will disappear. Most good paint detailers like small side jobs like this and will sometimes do them for a great price.

Thanks guys and girls. It sucks that silver is hard to match and chrome silver has a lot of metalic. I'll try and see how good it matches up.

I purchased a touch up paint bottle from my dealership for around $9 I think. It was a very good match and I'm very satisfied. Same color, KY0. I'd give it a shot. (had to wait 6 days for the dealership to get the paint in which was fine).

I purchased the Dr. Colorchip touch-up kit for my other car last spring and I was very pleased with the result. Better than I ever got with OEM touch-up paint. It's more expensive, but worth it IMO.

Hmm I'll see how much that pen is at the dealership and if cheap enough I'll get it. Thai scratch is not anything someone else would notice but I will lol.
