Anyone make a 350Z hood that covers the headlights as if you had the eyelids installed? I've seen VW hoods like that, but no Z hoods yet...

 

I've seen plenty of aftermarket parts, never seen that before though. I doubt they have it.

 

Not sure they sell the hoods like that for the VW's either, In my early days I was a VW guy and they were always made not bought. It started with just adding metal and shaving to fit, then someone came out with a kit pre-cut that needed to be welded and painted. Last I saw this was still how it was done.

 

Seems kinda stupid that no one's made one yet, with all the eyelids that people sport these days...

 

I know, with all the want for rice parts, someone should made them.

 

The Stick-on Eyelids are popular because they can be removed at a whim. They are also very thin, whereas if a hood was made with "eyelids" built onto it, it would be thick.

boser hoods? There have been many chops on G35Driver... not a fan. The stick on looks fine.

I too was saddened by the passing of the begging thread. It was comical at the end to watch his hideous attempts at trolling. It was so desperate and pathetic though lol.

Dude, YES, love it!!!

I know most with similar taste would just get the cheap eyelids, but you can't match how clean this hood makes it look!

 

the boser hoods look like **** on VW's and even worse on that G35

 

Hmmm never seen them for a Z but they would be a better mod than using eyelids IMO
