Default authentic vertex lip kit

Im looking at buying an authentic vertex lip kit for a 2006 350z but before I do I want to know what the quality is like. Has anyone had any experience with this kit? Whats the fitment like out of the box? Durability? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Vertex is known for quality and fitment will be nearly perfect out of the box but it's made of fiberglass. Hit/scrape it enough times and it will eventually crack. I have the Shine replica and it's held up quite well, the material flexes similar to that of OEM. Fitment was spot on with a super tight fit.

Thanks a lot for the reply man! Im trying to find as much input as i can now because i got burned with the previous lip kit i bought. I had a kbd ings replica and it did not fit the car at all. Major bodywork would have to be done to make it work.

Anyone else have any experience?

Was there any body work needed with the shine replica at all besides primer and paint? It fit 100% perfectly out of the box?

I haven't tried any vertex parts on my Z. I did on my previous s13 and fitment was perfect. I don't think you will have any problems.

I have the full authentic Vertex kit, and the fitment is great. While it is fiberglass, it's pretty tough. Mine has taken quite a beating and is still in pretty good condition. I would definitely recommend Vertex to anyone looking for quality, authentic parts with near OEM fitment...
