I was wondering if anyone has purchased these, and
a. either has gotten in trouble because they are illegal
b. if there's still enough light emitting through the carbon fiber that cops won't bug you about it.

Thanks in advance, im also searching other options, i'd like a greyish tint instead of the ugly clear.

Only ones I've seen are a "print" of CF on acrylic material.
Light should come through.However,don't know if local law
enforcement would be a problem.I've got smoke vinyl
tint on mine.Been on for 3-4 years.Never had a problem.
Just me,I'd not have fake CF on my Z .Get a vinyl tint.
Way cheaper.Looks the same.

Yeah i wasn't going to put fake CF on my z just didn't know if light could actually get through the carbon fiber covers

I'll take a look at the vinyl tints haven't seen these but i'll search around.

Also i didn't see any Turn singal covers or front end covers either on that website.

I was thinking to do this too so here is what i found
BTW: I havent done it yet since i modding something else right now.

but anyways what you can do is buy some smoke tint then buy and paste this
clear carbon fiber vinyl over it giving it a carbon fiber look yet keeping it rather transparent the light might look a bit fogged but then again that doesnt really matter

hope this helps also it should be illegal since the lights still show if you can smoke headlights and taillights you should be able to smoke those.... idk im still going to do it....
