Question Seats question

I have a set of seats in my 300zx that I had custom covers made for and I just bought a 350z and was wondering if maybe, just maybe I was lucky enough that the seats could be swapped from my 300zx to my 350z? Would save me a bit of money.

Brand seats? If they are stock, probably not. If aftermarket, you may just need to buy new bases to use them. I'll let the others weigh in that know a bit more than myself though.

Stock seats with custom covers. Thanks for your bit of input.

Have you measured them to see if they'll even fit in the 350z cabin? 350z seats are bolted down by 4 (If I remember correctly, it was 14mm) bolts on the bottom of the seat. Do you have the stock 300zx sliders still or no? I'd first check to see where the slider rail bolts up in the 300zx vs the 350z, and if it doesn't you could probably get something fabricated if you can find a shop to do it.

No, I haven't really done any measuring yet. I just thought I'd ask first to see if anyone has tried. I still have the stock sliders and everything. Actually still have the entire car. Wanted to see about swapping a thing or two before selling.
