The look I'm going for is having an unsmashed windshield and roof. Several people who learned the hard way that not running hood pins is a dumb idea would disagree with you. Seibon disagrees with you too. It doesn't matter how perfect you install it, you can't weld the latch to a fiberglass hood. The epoxy they use instead is a ticking time bomb until it eventually gives out from the constant stress on it.

Slowly selling off some of my extra parts so hopefully I'll be ready to paint the car once the hood shows up. If I don't have enough paint money by the time it shows up I think I'll install it unpainted anyways, just to see how it looks and also so I don't have to worry about it taking up space in the garage.

Last night I saw this Z and it's kind of similar to what mine looks like so seeing that he left the vents unpainted is reassuring me that I made the right choice. I'm liking how it looks.

Edit: NVM saw you bought one. Def need hood pins and good luck.

My 2 cents. I just bought a Seibon TS and either side of the hood has 2 completely different arcs so the hood sits great on one side but low on the other and the sides are not straight so the lines go in and out a little bit. My wife didn't notice but me being a perfectionist noticed. I HAVE to paint it now and my body shop said they can get it almost perfect with some work. It was the black friday deal so basically with paint I will net to an msrp hood.

No dice on getting it warrantied either due to their "if car has body work clause". Stupid thing is an OEM hood fits damn perfect.

If you can go to Seibon and have them install I say shoot.

Do you have the HR or DE seibon hood? I hear the hr tends to fit pretty good and the DE is a toss up

Unless seibon quality has changes, I have had no issues...
