headlight dilemma depo vs oem replacement
well to make a long story short, after not driving my car for awhile,i took it out for the daily routine instead of the civic. i know you dont care, so meat and potatoes. i noticed the front bumper by the headlight housing was popped in a little...and i pulled the fender well out reached my hand in and popped it back out (doesnt look right but i guess itll give me an excuse to get the v2 front bumper, life gives you lemons right?) but a chunk of the headlight housing is gone so to my question
depo head lights or oem replacement. this are the oem 06+ ones. all the electronics, honestly best thing ive done for my z. but price for price, just for the housing should i just hunt down an oem one and swap my fancy painted internals in and just have some spare bits incase? or buy the deop ones and gut the one i need and just have a spare i guess? options ideas much appreciated its about 300 either way so

mmm i got both my 06 oems brand new in the nissan box for less than that, i wanna say like 705 after shipping. right place right time. i was super happy bout it. bout i just need one housing.passengers side it still works and didnt have any issues in the rain so i figure itll be good for awhile, im just questioning the quility of the deops and having spare bits, vs just finding one for 300 on ebay, or scouring around for a bit til i find one to pop open and throw the insides in

Dang you got lucky with that price unless they lower the price now. I remember they were a grand a piece but then they lowered it a little but I didn't think that much.

well i happened to be ordering myself a christmas toy few years ago, and calling around one of the places mentioned they had them. and that theyd been sitting there for like 6 months, so i got them for a steal when i was ordering some other stuff. but heres some pics of the headlights after i was done with em, the first link i found on ebay for one like 380, theres cheaper so and then them in my car
sorry for the picture of the fluff ball, everytime i try to upload the pic of my car it puts that one in

I have the depo headlights and love them. Of course, I have an 03 and still had stock 03 lights. Ive seen a HUGE difference between the two and that's even with cheap bulbs in the depos. From what it seems, 03-05< depo< depo with STI lense< 06+
