After owning my body kit for about 5 years now I would like to know if its authentic or not. The person I bought it from said he wasn't sure but the person he bought it from said it was authentic. I am looking for people who are experts in the veilside products to give me an answer but I'm open to opinions as well.

The reason for the concern if it’s real or not comes from it not having the stainless steel veilside plates in the sides and rear bumper. I don't know if that came later after the replicas started to come up or has that always been.

It does have veilside stamped into the back of all the parts, and it did have a serial number on all the parts as well(since repainting it, they kinda sanded it down so the numbers are hard to see). The sides did have Veilside embossed on the sides as well but the body shop sanded it down so you can't see it anymore. (The attached pic is when I first got the sides.)

My thoughts are it’s either a very good replica or one of the first batch of body kits from veilside. (The other attached pic shows where the stainless steel plate goes just under license plate)

I appreciate the response Muzzy, so the veilside japan kit is different from the Ca veilside kits? Here is a pic of the car mostly showing the rear how it doesn't have the stainless steel plaque below the license plate.
