Any of you guys have seen a 350z with this kind of tail... I saw a picture posted in this forum with something similar...Do you think is it possible make something similar. I have the asuka hatch and still thinking about some modification!! Please post pics or ideas!!

As rare as the Asuka hatch is I would just leave it alone and don't try to modify it.

No one has made the true ducktail other than INGS+1 which I would not really call a ducktail.

The 370z guys have a really cool one but no one has stepped up for us.

 

It's a rendering of the new Z33 Rocket Bunny kit. Surprised there's no ducktail in all honesty.


I agree with Waizzz... The Asuka hatch is a rare, high-quality part... Please don't modify it.

They make the duckbill for the Z33 as well. Got one on mine. They come in CF too.

This dude from BRG has one that is similar to the Rocket Bunny. Im pretty sure he had it made but like Highway Riding said, you could just buy one and have it modified to fit. Shouldn't be too hard for a good body shop

 

I wish there was more info to go with that picture. This would keep me from doing a big SBC wing.

Genuine S14 RB wings pop up on Zilvia every now and again as well.

 

You the man. This time I owe you a drink. I think I'm going to order one just to play with. It's cheap enough compared to the alternatives that even if it fails completely "which I don't expect" that it's not a big deal.

He emailed back pretty quick but seems to be fairly pushy. I simply asked for a couple more pictures etc and have gotten three emails in the last half hour that consist of simply

^^^ Sounds like a typical Zilvia member (an 18-20 year old 240sx owner)...

Hold off for pics. If he's that pushy it's definitely suspicious. Or he's just stupid.

 

Thats my feeling too. There are enough places to get them that I don't see any reason to deal with some pushy kid. I'd rather spend more and get it from a decent vendor.
