I bought a pair of OEM style headlights off ebay to replace my old housings since they were really nasty looking. My Z has factory xenon with an 8 pin connector, but these lights came with a 6 pin connector for halogen. I've found many people with threads converting a headlights 8 pin to the cars 6 pin, but I need help converting the other way around. Anyone have any experience with this?

So the two wires on the right side of the 8pin don't get used then? Is it fine to just tape them off?
