hi im new to the boards and im just wondering if the car fiber roof overlay will cover up my roof its dented in last owner says it was because someone jumped on top of the roof. i dont know how to post pics if someone could explain i would post pictures of the roof
If it's not messed up along the edges you should be fine. I know several guys have done this because of hail damage or something fell on it and dented it.
My roof got dented all over when my hood blew up at 120mph. I have a cf skin and it overs it great. Just used a lot of glue along with 3m tape. Since the roof was uneven
thanks for the reply guys its mostly in the center of the roof. now is cf skin like a vinyl wrap? sorry but i am somewhat confused on the issue and if someone could link me to a website where i could purchase it and a guide for the install maybe? thanks guys

It is it's own piece, like a bumper. Most likely its fiberglass with a carbon fiber overlay like the cheaper CF hoods. It should also have something like 3m tape around the edges. Basically that's all you need, you can add glue like the one above did.
As for a link, just google 350z roof overlay.
And as for the hood flying up, probably just failed at 120+mph. This is why race cars have hood pins.
