After seeing how the Meguiar's kit worked wonders on my brother's GSX, I decided to give the Z a treatment. The results were amazing and the process was fast and easy

The left headlight is treated; the right is not:
Not to nitpick, but in automotive terms, Left and Right are determined by driver's seated position... Otherwise, nice results!
And by the way, Goddamnit, I wish I had held out for a black Z! I have been quoted as saying that I would never voluntarily own a car that wasn't black, but the Daytona Blue one I bought last year had every other thing I was looking for...
let's see updates in a month. Usually those headlight resto kits are good for about a month and then start to haze again since there's no coating. You'll need to add some sort of UV coating to it to preserve the clean look.

I'm not sure that's true, but maybe it is? About 18 months ago I used the Mother's kit on my '08 headlights. They weren't even slightly hazy, but polishing always makes things look better, IMO (did the tails, too). So I did both the headlights and they looked great, and I always wax them when I wax the car (Mother's California Gold Carnauba). After all that time, they still look perfect, I'm in South Florida with very high UV levels, and unfortunately I have to park my car outside.

This. The Turtles kit did the same thing. Looked crystal clear for about a week.

The wax itself acts as a temporary UV coating and as long as it is regularly applied, it should prevent hazing
^^^ Bahaha, still better than nothing. In SoCal we get as much sun as you guys in FL and I did the same (waxing about 4x annually) on my former WRX and my headlight restoration lasted for almost 2 years.
Oh okay thanks I might have to try that after I use this kit or you think th turtle works better.
I have never tried the other so I can only speak for Turtle. I only used step 1 and 2 on mine, but the kit comes with 3 more additional steps where you can sand then re-seal.
Keep in mind folks, that if you use a product that blocks UV from getting to the headlights, UV also cannot get out of the headlights, and you won't be able to see purple objects at night...
