2003 350Z Steering wheel airbag connectors HELP
Good evening to you all
I just recently ( 2 days ago) purchased my first Z and I've been going through the car trying to fix all the trouble lights so i can get t safetied.
The Airbag light is on, and here is why, the previous owner had a wood steering wheel on there with no Airbag and instead of putting in resisitors or even just leaving the connectors alone and disregardsing the line he had the bright and ingenious idea to just chop them off. Now he sold me the car with the original Steering wheel on and i am stock having to figure out this connector issue.
I am Missing the connector pieces that plug into the airbag, and was told by the mechanic i went to see that i needed a new wiring harness from where ever the other connector may be ( prehaps the connector that is under the grey plastic that also includes the horn?) since for obvious reasons one should never solder any wires leading to an airbag.
Has anybody ever had to replace this harness? If so how much did it end up costing you and how big of a job was it?
I can seem to find the connector for sale by itself or even that short piece of harness. do i need to change the entire clockspring?
This is the one thats cut

Thanks a million in advance for your responses
