In China, they do that too, but only with cheap liquor, not beer. Don't you dare waste those Heineken on a ricer.

and this front

looks like this, but pearl white

I plan to purchase all of these soon, with the tires and wheels first.

Not quite dreaming, as I COULD do anything for it.
As for "rice in my blood" I'm not sure. I don't know much about cars, but I have a deep hate for civics that sound like pushmowers, if that helps?

I just don't quite know enough yet to know what I should/shouldn't be doing.

But I was already on the fence about the kit. Just wasn't the "clean" look (i think) i'm going for.

Will be buying the wheels & exhaust this week & weekend.

Will continue looking for exterior options that I like, but not rushing anything. Any suggestions from you vets?

Thanks for suggestions/posts.

Sorry about that, long week at work.

Yeah, after logging in on mobile and seeing your posts, I realize you were trying to help, it's just the typical my350z.com/forums approach that everyone here knows and embraces which rubbed me the wrong way at first.

To be honest, I'm still upset that I bought an auto. It was the only choice at the time and I seriously regret it, but there's really nothing I can do about it for at least 6 years (end of military and then college) without taking a huge loss. I don't see a huge "trading my manual Z for an auto" market around.

meh, i didn't lose sleep over it, so no reason to be sorry. in all honesty the money you would spend to turn an auto to standard you would be better off selling it and getting a standard.

me personally i don't like body kits, you have made it apparent you do (may be the age difference). they are expensive and will be expensive to repair if you mess it up (and it will happen, i am lowered an inch and i drag on stuff all the time)

About 1 hour ago I was driving down the highway on my way home and BAM... My authentic TopSecret Carbon Fiber front lip got sucked right under the car. It is now destroyed and I no longer have a front lip

Ouch.

Yeah, I like the look that they bring. But I may just end up adding a few performance mods and trying to trade her eventually.

if you are going to sell it, do not do anything to it. you will get more money for an un-molested z than you will a modified one. the money you put into, you will never get back

I think i'm alright with that, but just for the wheels and exhaust. I suppose after that I'll just finish paying it off. Do you suggest trying to trade for another Z? Would I have any luck?

how much do you owe on it?? if it were me, i wouldn't do anything to the car, when you can sell it and break even (or come out ahead) do that, do you really want to lose money on things?

(remember, this is my thinking)

Lose money? No, but that's just car ownership in general.

If I sold right now, I'd probably near break even to what I owe on it, if not still being under.

I only bought her a year ago, but my payment plan is to scale where I'll pay the rest off in the next 2 years before I ETS and head to college.
