Hey everyone - with swapping my cooling system I lost my OEM latch set and can't think of a way to safely latch my hood without drilling holes in my OEM hood and installing hood pins.

For the record - I think hood pins are played-out...

with that being said I don't think I have a choice

Has anyone come up with a solution to to lock the hood down without hood pins?

I don't like the aerocatch latching style, those are out for sure...I am considering the simple old school style...

anyways, opinions, experiences, thoughts (good and bad) are appreciated

 

When I get my new hood I'm considering old school pins. I'll decide later; I'm not into the new style necessarly where you lock them, I think that I can find some nice ones. The mcr hood already has the holes on under hood just for that and it would be easy to do. We will see when the time comes, but it could look good old school.
