Default Will an 03-05 oem radio fit in an 06-08 350z??

Like the post states. I have an 08 and my interior is full of scratches. Has to do with the coating that Nissan used on the 06-08 models. The earlier models do not have this problem. So my question is, can I simply plug in an oem radio/diskchanger/receiver into my 08? I looks like the dimensions are the same. However some of the buttons are different and I'm not sure if the plugs on the back are the same. If anyone has a spare radio and lives between LA and San Diego I'm down to try

Just my piece of advice, if I were you id go aftermarket theres no reason in paying for the oem radio it looks ancient, it has no mp3 port, and for the price your going to pay to pick up a used one add 200 and you can pick up a pretty decent aftermarket one.

It's an 08 Nismo and I'm trying to keep everything as oem as possible. Even when looking for a car to purchase I prefer the ones with an oem stereo. I'm not sure if other people are this way, but the aftermarket head units to me, made the car feel, more, used? I'm sure if that's the correct word for it. Almost like buying a car with a cheep aftermarket exhaust or intake.

The earlier headunits have slightly different edges and corner dimensions than the later ones. I doubt they will fit into an '08 IP correctly.
