It sucks that this kit came out so late in the game. Rocketbunny and over fender everything is so played at all the car shows in so cal.
Over fenders have been around for a longgggg time brother. They've recently been gaining some momentum but they aren't going anywhere any time soon. So cal is the heart of the car scene in America so of course you're going to see a lot of everything excessively. I live in kentucky. Lmao.
lmao
but it looks like you could clear the entrance to me.
buck your car up to one side and measure overall space to work with find out how much width overall the rb kit adds at widest point. if less then go for it.
i managed to find a live video of the debut of the rocket bunny kit on the 350z so i have a better idea now of how wide it actually is...
when i take a second glance at the kit......it just doesn't look as good as the gtr rocket bunny kit.....the front and rear over fenders just stand out way to much and imo it doesn't look nearly as......."flush."
When you look at the ben sopra 350zz body kit, i don't particularly like the front bumper on it...it looks like a mythical dragon with a mustache......but the front and rear fenders look way better than the 350z rocket bunny kit.
been following the rocket bunny thinking of doing it myself. Honestly, after how well the FRS and S15 kits were Im really disappointing in the outcome. Kind of like they just spit out a kit real quick to please the Z crowd. I have issues with the kit and the overall flow of it, but mostly, I think they didnt utilized the beautiful Z lines as well as their FRS, GTR and S15 kits.
None the less, I'll still follow this in earnest and look forward to seeing how it turns out.
If its to your personal liking OP, I know youll enjoy it. I agree with Chris 100%, following a more "racecar" feel would probably help this kit out a lot.

You won't be able to run the front fenders without the rocket bunny front bumper. The part of the flare that goes onto the front bumper is molded onto the bumper and not a separate piece.
FedEx tracking says the kit gets here Wednesday. So it looks like I will indeed be the first personal rocket bunny 350z
hmmmmmmm this is verrry interesting and informative. Sort of squashes a lot of us "mix and match" guys dreams.

couldn't have said it better, my exact thoughts as well. wish a little bit more time went into truely making it for the Z rather than looking like a slapped on version. the initial renders seemed to have flowed well.
hope Cjw4050's comes out well enough to change that thought.
Yeah as we said earlier it just looks tacky. Better than the veilside kit, but that's not saying much.
Give it 9 months for the stance guys to milk it to a pulp and make it even worse.
I sure as hell wouldn't fork over 4 grand for that.
