Default carbon fiber hood

I was in the market of getting a carbon fiber hood. Now would I have to re use the old seal on the old hood or am I fine with no seal? I been looking at CF hood installing on youtube and not one of them mention anything about the seal. Any help would be much appreciated.

No seals came with my Seibon cf hatch and I had to drill new holes in it to attach the OEM stripping.

Danm that sucks...I was planning on getting the 08 Seibon ts CF hood. You mentioned holes so theres no adhesive to deal with right & how hard was it to get the hood on the car plus installing the seals?

I was referring to the hatch but to my knowledge no company includes new weather stripping. The seal under the front of the hood is held on with little plastic grommets if I remember correctly so it's easy to remove and re-install on the new hood if you have to. Even if the new hood doesn't come with holes don't be scared to drill new ones; just take your time.

I didn't use the factory rubber stripping on my seibon hood. I wanted to keep the stock hood intact and the latch holds the hood still just fine. No fluttering or anything.
