Default Changing Seats

does anyone know if the 2006 350z seats are interchangeable with the 2004?

getting a really good deal on a leather set but no one seems to know if the connections are the same, even the dealership.

The mounting points are the same. But, there are several options within the seats - manual, power, heated, side airbags, etc.

I also have question about changing seats.

Currently: 2003 Touring - Leather, power, heated

Want: 350Z Nismo cloth seat

Will they fit ok? Do they laterally hold better? I'm on track about 30-40 days this year.

Nismo seats will bolt in, but will have no power, no heat, and their airbags won't work. Yes, cloth will grip your body better. Why not look for seats from a Base car, as they'll be functionally the same, but much less expensive?

I was looking at an aftermarket seats also. Sparco Chrono Road, Sparco R600, Recaro Speed. But each of these is like $800+ for a single seat, bracket, slider then i would need the seat sensor module to stop alarm from chiming permanently.

After talking to some guys with 350Z Nismo, their seats are no better at holding than standard cloth seats. So I will probably buy the base cloth seat then move to aftermarket seat when/if I want something better. Trying to spend my money on track days instead of upgrades.
