Default E-brake cover

Hello

Has anyone "dressed up" their ebrake with an ebrake cover like the NR-G gen 4 hand ebrake cover? If so, do you need to strip the ebrake and leave it in bare metal?

There really wasn't any need to remove the rubber. It's been several years, but I think i used a popsicle stick to push the suede through the slot in the rubber.

dcains, so you left it in bare metal before installing? or does that model fits over the original ebrake?

I cut and removed all of the original covering. The replacement handle is made by Isotta and attaches with 4 set-screws from the underside. The boot has elastic on the small end which fits into a groove on the new handle.
