it is just the clear reflector, and yes much of that is tooling costs. a low production run. one of a kind peice never been done before, this is the 1 and only way to get them. other than 900$ at clear corners, he does it with a different white reflector strip.

Heh.... Vic and I ps some pictures before the car's debut. It was in Spring 02.
Then we got carried away and stared doing clear tail lights, altezzas (very bad... we just put red spots on them), and he got happy pasting exhaust tips on there.
AHAHA.. those were the days.
Seriously though, I'd really really like to beg for those clear strips. I can buy them, but I'm not coordinated enough for this work. So if I buy them, the best I can do is duct tape them... :-P
