nope, this run include the making of a mold and the casting of the first sets.

the mold is being made from a set of stock strips. it will reproduce them exactly. and poured with clear resin.

alignment, no it wont, thats fixed by the setting in the mount. your not changing any of that.

the biggest risk is not sealing the headlight properly. its possible to do without any problems and has been done hundreds of times by people with all kinds of cars including Zs. you just have to be careful with your work

Default ares...

#1 - you are sending install directions with the finished product, right?

#2 - PM me Friday and let me know how many sets you have ordered at that point. I'll put my order in after that to complete the order of 10 (or to add to it!)

I havent done my own, so I cant offer any instructions. at this point I can only offer laosifu's DIY write up.

I dont want to open my headlights twice for this.

for those worried and want these installed, Mr. Zipps has offered his services, I beleive its 150 to open them and install, 200 to paint them as well. not a bad deal at all for gaurenteed work.

I love the look but US$80 per set, is this a good price? Its just a clear reflector right?

Is it expensive because of the tooling involved to make them.

Holy crap just looked at the DIY link!! Talk about a huge process.

I agree with mchapman. I'd also like to see pictures when available as well as pictures of the install progress.
