Your going to need a way bigger wheel for the flares. Your going to need some custom built wheels as you can fit 11s with a real tires all day on stock body

I have about 5K for body, wheels and tires. I can recoupe 1K from the existing kit and other stuff I have laying around.

I have another 5K set aside for the "future" , but I can dip into that if I need. I'm not paying any labor on the respray, and we already have the paint.

Just do it! It's not that bad, just take your time. 8/10 wide body guys hack their fenders under the flares, take your time and do it right.

It sounds like you've got the facilities and skill (with your body guy and shop) to get the project done.

Check out my build thread, in my sig below. I posted up a ton of pics of my fender flare install, fender modification, etc.

My $.02… Forget all the replica and crap parts (wheels and aero) and save your money a little longer and buy legit parts and do the job right. If you want to do a widebody properly, you are going to need more than $5,000. Don't cut corners. It will not look right and, in the end, there will still be much to be desired. Again, my humble opinion. It will not be shared by many around here…

Ebay is selling a rocket bunny 350z kit that came out a couple months ago. I Suggest that or the superleggera kit. those are both really nice ones. they both retail for replica kits about for 1,500 orn 1,800 thats what i would do if i was you.

OK, I'm glad I posted this!!! It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I think I am going to have to pass on the widebody for now. The flares JDMFETISH posted could be added later, and I think the WB is just too much for my first attempt at this.

I really like the AMS-GT rear, but I still am unclear as to what to use on the front. Anyone have any suggestions? I like the front bumpers that have a lip built into the design (aesthetics, not downforce), but I am open to any ideas. BTW, I don't like the Vader style because of all the holes in the face...

I am not a fan of the kit but if it fits your personality I wish you much luck while attempting to get it finished. Will be awaiting update pics as you go. I enjoy people having fun with their cars wether my flavor or not.
