I'm just waiting on replies from other members who've ventured to go this way with the HR. The simple things cams/valves/rods maybe 3-4k in parts and I do it myself 0.o...

thanks man...After watching a buddies 370z crawl off with 301whp numbers. I called my numbers off the back . We both had previously been on the Dynopack at another shop (Munky Wurks). I wasn't shooked when I saw 285whp. Hopefully I can run away from my family this week to get my real numbers. In the sense to see how far I've come on the same dyno. Not to brag or be overzealous but I pretty sure I'm clearing 300whp.

Yea man I'm sure your power is closer to that...I've seen my car on a dyno and it read 295whp, the I saw it on another dyno and it read 265whp...

I have also experienced this. I have been to Mustang, dynojet and dynopack Dyno's.

I saw the lowest #'s on the dynopack and dynojet.

So those are solid #'s. Congrats!

Just need to find a shop that doesn't rape me with labor cost.

The lowest bar is stillen's lateral arm bar. The second lowest bar is stillen's sway bar.
The bar above it? Chassis bar?

Lower control arm brace? Not stillen but?

You have the best mode of all, Driver mode that clearly puts you around 300whp. nice power and your exhaust sound mean.

Sounds like Hawaii has quite the Nissan scene going on. Have you guys organized a club? Or does one already exist with monthly meets? Seems like you guys all know each other and roll together.

Sure do bro...it's called VQ INC (Infiniti Nissan Club). A recent alliance amongst the G's & Z's. Great bunch of enthusiasts!

Like the President said, we have a great group of guys that just want to have the fastest, lowest, and all around best looking Z. Yet we support each on a brotherly level.

So **** that shiet on with my failblog!

So I was/still am very confident that my car has great power. Even after the tune from "Chris Black" I felt an even greater feel/gain in the car.

So to tie up my power mods so far and to measure where I've come from stock. I took my loser car over to "Munky Wurks" for a final dyno.

Name: b1c9f34b.jpg
Views: 90
Size: 340.8 KB
(AMS)277.3whp 253.3wtq ---- (stock)264.5whp 252.9wtq

Looking it over don't think the lower graph is my stock or baseline, rather my friends G. After both dynos we was overlapping everyones Pulls going back to last years huge dyno/tune day. So I think Sean might have left Melos G pull on the display. Either way learned alot between Z/G/DE/RevUp/HR.

So my numbers are stupid low and my gains aren't enough for me to brag. More over it's grounds for me to put my foot in my mouth. I do have excuses

The Goddamn weather!

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

So upon removing my rims a lug came off alittle slow. Rethreaded might have been the cause. Quick "FREE" fix at "Ron's Performance".

"Sean" double checking the tune from Chris. Him being a tuner himself he felt that he could pull out more in torque. He also said that the tune is solid and that I didn't get smoothed over with hype.

Looks like its time for some turbos! I bet the z still feels stout though. Also, maybe you could try going to another dyno somewhere? Dyno's read differently...

I think the numbers are deceiving, with mine the gains were small (11 hp) but the power comes on earlier and stays longer. (271/262) with a zillion in mods. Also my 4.08s and the quaife give me low end grunt (which is what I want having never been above 120 why do I need a car that can go 180?

Do you see those kind of improvements?

As an aside, I killed in every gear a new Charger R/T on a freeway onramp yesterday pissed him off!!!!

Nice man...

I'm not dwelling that much on the numbers. There's a couple other measuring tools here on island. Ha! I'll report back with finding!

dynos can be deceiving. I wouldn't put too much faith in those numbers. On a side note, that G is sick! Love that color!
