I have an 06, the soft top began ripping behind the side windows. I researched forever and decided to sew the tears with black #50 braided fishing line. Worked great, but the tears reappeared right next to the repairs because the fabric was too fragile.

Bottom line, I bought a new Haartz Stayfast fabric top from topsonline.com. It came in 4 days, cost $650.00 and I did it with no help in my garage. It's not rocket science, but there are many steps. I'm glad I did it this way, I hate paying someone to do something I can learn to do. Good luck.

Haha man that's nothing. Stitch that and put a patch under the back.

I've got like 2- 3" long rips on mine. Just going to throw some patches with some fabric 3M upholstery epoxy I got and call it good. I live in CA and think the tops are ugly up and probably going to run mine down 90% of the time. I'm almost tempted to just take the thing out
