Default Aerosync bumper and ZSpeed Undershroud

The bumper mounted up fine, everything lines up. (The finish sucks and needs a lot of work but thats another thread topic) The rear under shroud part bolted up fine, but on the front part there is a about a 2 inch vertical gap between the shroud and the bumper. Not the same gap as the v3 extension. Looks like there should be a spacer or something. Corners suck too. Every bolt hole lines up but there is just a gap I can't close by just pushing up the bumper or pulling down the shroud. Its not even close, any ideas?

Yeah I didn't think about it, I guess since the bumper sits lower its off by that much. I haven't seen anyone else come across this so I thought it was good to go. Going to work on making a bracket to attach it to the bumper

Debating on just leaving it alone. I've been driving it and the bumper doesn't have much flex in it. Nothings came loose so far

Seen that with a few aftermarket bumpers, but some odd reason attention to detail sucks with some fiberglass companies

Mine fits fine with the z-speed. There is some adjustment in the z-speed tray itself. Looks like in your photo its installed all the way in the back position? Loosen the bolts up and slide it all forward.

The issue isn't it being too short, its a VERTICAL gap, as in up and down

My OEM tray fits the aerosync with no problems, so I am going to assume my zspeed will fit as well.

I think you just need to massage it until it fits.

Yeah, I see what you mean about the vertical gap plus the length combined. I've had 2 different ZSpeed undershouds on stock and Shine spec a bumper covers; fit the stock perfect but I had to drill some holes in the front under bumper section and put some threaded clips on them. It worked out well, but I had no vertical gap at all.

With yours it plain doesn't look right. Does your bumper cover hang lower than the OEM one? Good luck getting this figured out; like mentioned, just barely get the first few bolts threads started to give you plenty of undershroud movement so that you can tweak the best/most important hook up spots; make the holes extra wide too for options. *Just one thought, you could put some cheap little round plastic spacers to drop the undershroud to match up better in front. Would need some longer bolts in that matter.

It wouldn't be too bad at all to drill out some larger bolt holes on the ZSpeed if needed, then just use some larger dia. washers to account for any "carving" with a dremmel that may happen. I had to do that on my first one that a friend fabed up at his metal shop; didn't line up as well as expected so I did some metal drilling and made some odd shapes to get it to fit hehe!

There is definitely no amount of massaging that will make it work lol its way to far apart. The plastic spacer idea ran across my mind. If I combine that with heating up the undershroud seam to bend it...might reach. I'm in the process of wrapping my whole car so I've been doing repairs on the bumper anyways. It came very rough so I wouldn't be surprised if it's just not going to work
