Default Stupid bumper sag please help

Hey guys since I've bought my z I've had this stupid bumper sag. I took the whole rear bumper off and it look like the side clip wasn't all the way in the bracket. Me and my dad tried to fix it and it slid right in. I thought it was fixed but it wasn't it still sagged? Can anybody help me fix this problem? Is there any clips that goes in the side of the bumper to keep it held up? If there is can y'all show me pics and how it's supposed to be thanks

that's a new one. I would believe that the PO got rear-ended...took some cash, and never fixed it properly and just unloaded the car.

It *looks* like the white plastic bumperclip/screw thing failed/cracked or whatever. If so, should be an easy fix.

Well first, take the bumper off. Right under the tail light should be a white bolt/clip thing. Check if that is loose. Wiggle it up and down, if it is loose, pop it out and pop a new one in.

I just went through rear bumper removal.
turboed350z and travlee are right - I would like to add just that both clips - sliding one and the one under the rear light are connected to bumper through the same metal brace - pay attention to brace and both clips and you'll be fine.
My clips were smashed so I had to get new from courtesyparts.
Good luck!

Make sure you have the black metal reinforcing bracket(s) in the bumper as well. That part is critical to prevent the sagging, it has a channel that slides over the first (larger) part pictured, and it allows the part you just bought to tightly grip the bumper without depending on the strength of the plastic.
