FRP = fiberglass.
Fiber Reinforced Plastic = Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic. It's the recipe that makes some frp parts more or flexible. The resin that's used to laminate the fiber is where the difference matters most.

 

VIS stuff almost always fits like ***. I wouldn't recommend it. Shine on the other hand usually fits really good.
