Default Just got the car painted.

Will take better pics this weekend, but just picked it up. Still unsure about the rear Z logo, might get take it off. (Holes behind it were filled in) Got black lug nuts and will paint the center caps too.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ BZZZZZZZ BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ....

Heh, heh... just razzin' ya. Turned out very nice. A little loud for ME but hey, it's certainly different.

Oh, if you want an honest opinion.... the rear emblem does nothing for me. Pulls my eyes to it a little too overtly, IMO.

MicVelo, I have nicknamed the car Bumble Z
The fact that the rear emblem doesn't really match is what really bugs me about it. It was painted with the same paint and clear coat, but ended up lighter. And then there's what you mentioned, it just pulls your eyes in. I think removing it will make it look cleaner, so I'm leaning that direction.

Also, going to tint the rear turn signals this weekend. Got LED bulb replacements so I don't lose any visibility by doing so.

The 2 tone looks good, but the rear emblem and the non-conformist rear wiper need to go

What plugs are people using to do wiper and nozzle deletes these days? Looks like the ones on Amazon are no longer available.

My old hatch has one installed. If you're interested in it send me a message. My new hatch I completely shaved the wiper so there is no longer a hole there

go get a piece of plexiglass about 2x3 inches, get a 7/8 inch metal drain plug (or closest one to filling the hole) from home depot... drill about 4 holes in the plexi and attach the plug to top of it using the prongs on the plug. 3m tape on the top along two sides of the plexi. remove wiper and motor, attach the plate from the underside of the hatch, silicone around (or like i did... squirt silicone from the bottom through the drilled holes... it fills the entire area and pushes up from the bottom around the plug... completely water tight)

this is my old car, and graffkid on here made my plug this way

and then i used a nylon one for the wiper squirter

I like how the tail lights continue the black and make the rear and look like it's angry or something.

Thanks, I'm at work so I squeeze in a second to check when I can. Do want something that is just plain black though, no logo or anything. Will look after work.
